I love a good chocolate shake, but since I don’t drink much milk lately, I decided to make a green smoothie version of a milkshake. It was full of chocolately goodness!!

If you wanted a little kick, you could add some coffee or a shot of espresso. :))) Additionally, add a tablespoon or two of Maca Powder or Matcha green tea powder for an extra energy boost. The wheatgrass in this is powdered and since wheatgrass is 70% chlorophyll, it’s an extremely powerful tool to cleanse your liver and boost energy. And because it is alkaline, wheatgrass helps to create a better PH balance in your system.

Wheatgrass was enjoyed for health purposes in early Mesoamerican and Egyptian civilizations over 6,000 years ago. The king of the Babylonian Empire, known for his strength and stamina, had a strict diet including wheatgrass.
